About Nora
I have lived my life with the belief that “square pegs can fit through round holes.” This has inspired me to search for unexpected, creative, and practical solutions to address some of today's most difficult global social equity issues.
As the world becomes more interconnected, those working in education are presented with new questions that demand us to move beyond our own knowledge and comfort zones. When we are invited to skillfully examine unspoken power dynamics, intentionally appreciate the depths of our (and others) strengths and limits, and courageously become innovative in our approaches, new possibilities & resources emerge. In order to lay the foundation for sustainable, inclusive, and transformative social change, I design interactive workshops and programs that nurture and facilitate this nuanced learning process.

My professional style is to:
- Work with each client to clarify needs & create a context-based framework that will achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Meet participants where they are at while also exposing them to new paradigms & perspectives.
- Provide an effective combination of structure & open space to enable participants to explore self & others simultaneously.
- Mindfully engage participants from “head to toe” (exploring interconnections between thoughts, emotions, & behaviors).
- Utilize a wide range of interactive & reflective tools (metaphors, personal narrative, art, film, writing, group activities, small & large group discussions) to illuminate complexities, expand resources, identify growth areas, & enhance a person's natural resilience for social change.
- Implement assessment tools to measure impact & enable clients to gain additional insights about next action steps for ongoing individual & institutional growth.
